The First President of the Court of Accounts, Judge Mohamad Badran, and the President of the Chamber Overseeing the Completion of the Closing of Accounts, Judge Nelly Abi Younes, visited His Excellency the Minister of Finance, Mr. Yassine Jaber, where discussions addressed the process of completing the closing of accounts within the framework of strengthening integration between the institutions concerned with public funds management. This process constitutes a key milestone in the path of financial reform and a response to one of the long-standing demands of the international community, in addition to being an entry point for establishing fiscal regularity and reinforcing the principles of transparency, accountability, and sound management of public funds.

The Minister of Finance commended the efforts exerted by the Court of Accounts, particularly the progress achieved in the closing of accounts file, praising the significant results attained in this area.
