Court of Audit Conveys Audit Report on "Management of the Wastewater System" to the Ministers of Interior and Environment

In accordance with its legal mandate to uphold accountability and transparency in the administration of public services, the Court of Audit formally conveyed an audit report on the “Management of the Wastewater System” to Minister of Interior and Municipalities Brigadier General Ahmad Al-Hajjar and Minister of Environment Dr. Tamara Al-Zein.

The report was delivered during a meeting attended by President of the Court of Audit Judge Mohammad Badran, Public Prosecutor at the Court Judge Fawzi Khamees, and Head of Chamber Judge Zeinab Hammoud.

The document highlights key legal and operational challenges within this vital sector and includes a set of recommendations aimed at improving administrative practices and reinforcing regulatory and financial oversight of wastewater management projects.
